The Platform includes the following accessibility features:

3. WCAG 2.1 Compliance

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. This includes:

  • Perceivable: Information and interface components are presented in ways users can perceive
  • Operable: Interface components and navigation are operable via keyboard and other input methods
  • Understandable: Information and interface operation are understandable
  • Robust: Content is compatible with current and future assistive technologies

4. Known Accessibility Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some limitations may exist:

  • Complex data visualizations and charts may have limited accessibility features
  • PDF documents may not be fully accessible; we provide alternative formats upon request
  • Third-party integrations may have their own accessibility limitations
  • Real-time streaming content may have limited caption support
  • Some legacy components may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards

We are actively working to address these limitations and improve overall Platform accessibility.

5. Assistive Technology Compatibility

The Platform is compatible with the following assistive technologies:

6. Keyboard Navigation

All Platform functionality is accessible via keyboard navigation:

  • Tab: Move forward through interactive elements
  • Shift + Tab: Move backward through interactive elements
  • Enter: Activate buttons and links
  • Space: Activate checkboxes and toggle buttons
  • Arrow Keys: Navigate within menus and select options
  • Escape: Close dialogs and menus

7. Text Sizing and Zoom

The Platform supports text resizing and browser zoom:

  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Browser zoom is fully supported (up to 200%)
  • Responsive design adapts to different screen sizes
  • No horizontal scrolling is required at 200% zoom

8. Color and Contrast

The Platform meets WCAG AA color contrast requirements:

  • Normal text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1
  • Large text (18pt+) has a contrast ratio of at least 3:1
  • Interactive elements have sufficient contrast
  • Color is not used as the only means of conveying information

9. Captions and Transcripts

Where applicable, the Platform provides:

  • Captions for video content
  • Transcripts for audio content
  • Descriptions for complex visualizations
  • Alternative text for images

10. Accessibility Testing

We conduct regular accessibility testing using:

  • Automated accessibility scanning tools
  • Manual testing with assistive technologies
  • User testing with individuals with disabilities
  • WCAG 2.1 compliance audits
